Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is a 2020 Indian Hindi language biographical period action movie. The film stars Ajay Devgan, Kajol, Saif Ali Khan, Jagapathi Babu and Sharad Kelkar in the lead roles. Directed by Om Raut, the film is set in the 17th century, based on the real-life of Tanaji Malusare, who was the military leader of King Shivaji, the founder of the Maratha Empire.
The film will be released theatrically in 3D on 10 January 2020.

Tanhaji Real Story :
The Mughal emperor Aurangzeb extended the expansion of the Mughal empire in South India to declare the strategic hill-fort Kondhana as the capital of South India at the end of the 17th century, at the same time the Maratha emperor of the Maratha Empire was King Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.He immediately ordered his general Tanaji Malusare to stop the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb from capturing Kondhana at any cost.
The then Mughal emperor sends his trusted commander Uday Bhan to protect the fort, a battle between both Tanaji Malusare and Uday Bhan to win Kondhana. In this battle, Tanaji Malusare got a heroic death.
